Thank you for your response to our letter. As far as pricing for our High Definition service, let me explain by breaking down the service into three packages:

HD Local Tier – This tier includes High Definition channels of local broadcast affiliates for each of the major broadcast stations. This package is currently all channels located between 806 and 816. The HD Local Tier is included with your service subscription to Basic Cable at no additional charge. If you have a television with a built in QAM tuner, you can view the HD Local Tier without the use of an HTC HD/DVR Set-top box. If your television does not have this tuner or is only an HD Ready television, you will need to also subscribe to our HD/DVR Set-top box to receive the HD Local Tier. The HD/DVR Set-top box is typically $12.95 per month, but as an HTC Bluewave customer, you can get this set-top box free for the first six months.

HD Tier – This tier includes High Definition channels of some of your favorite cable networks such as TNT, ESPN, etc. This tier is currently priced at $5.50. As a new Bluewave customer, our promotion does give you this tier for free for your first six months. The HD Tier currently requires a subscriptions to our HD/DVR Set-top box.

HD Premium – HD Premiums offer the High Definition version of each premium service. If you subscribe to any of our premiums (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, or STARZ!) and our HD/DVR Set-top box, you will get that HD Premium service at no additional charge. Normal premium subscriptions start at $12.95 per month for one premium, $22.95 for two, $29.95 for three and $34.95 for all four.
